IV Vitamin Drip
IV vitamin therapy is a method of delivering vitamins directly into your bloodstream for maximum absorption. This treatment hydrates your whole body, boosts your immune system, and supports your overall well-being. The result? You feel refreshed with radiant, hydrated, plump looking skin.
IV vitamin drips are suitable for anyone who wants a bit of a boost and healthier looking skin.
IV vitamin drips are extremely simple treatments. The process works by providing you with a direct infusion of vitamins and minerals, like high doses of vitamin C or magnesium.
When you put vitamins directly into your bloodstream they don’t have to be cleared by your digestive system and your liver, so you experience the benefits much faster. You also get the full potency of the vitamins. When you take vitamins orally, your body only absorbs about 50% of the nutrients. When they’re delivered intravenously, you get 100% absorption.
You should see results within 24 hours after treatment. Results include a reduction in fine lines, smoother skin, and a plump, rosy glow. You will look rested and refreshed.
The results will last anywhere from 1-3 weeks. For optimal results, we recommend 3-4 treatments, 2 weeks apart.
Before your treatment, you’ll meet with me for a free consultation. I’ll get to know you and your medical history to determine is an IV vitamin drip is the right option for you. I’ll answer any questions you may have.
It’s important to stay hydrated in the days leading up to your treatment as it will make it easier to find a vein for your IV.
IV vitamin drips takes anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour. Many people find the treatment relaxing, especially if you’re feeling a bit run down. I will quickly check your blood pressure to make sure everything is normal, I will clean your arm to prepare for the IV, and I will insert a small needle, which is connected to our cocktail of beauty-boosting vitamins.
When the drip is complete, I will check your blood pressure again, and you’re good to go!
There’s no downtime after an IV vitamin drip, you can get on with your day—you may even leave feeling energized.
Some people may experience redness or bruising at the injection site in the days after treatment. You can use ice or Acetaminophen/Ibuprofen to alleviate any discomfort. Arnica cream may help with any bruising.
